what could fake this

Every way a clip can fake movement is tested here when you press Assess: frame coverage, dropped and blank frames, rolling-shutter shear, how many control areas the noise floor rests on, dust and obscuration, and whether the target has enough texture to correlate at all.

Each check is reported as PASS, WARN or FAIL with the number behind it, so a verdict can be argued with rather than taken on trust.

Both frames are segmented into individual fragments, each fragment in the pre-blast reference is correlated into the current frame, and the result is a per-rock answer: how far it went, which way, whether it turned or rolled, and how confident that is. Fragments that arrived and fragments that are no longer there are listed separately.
